About RAC-BC

The National Association works with Provincial Chapters in a mutually beneficial relationship. Each Chapter operates under the bylaws of RAC, but are unique, having their own Board of Directors, Committees and Groups. Chapters are an excellent way to serve the interests of Reflexologists in every area of Canada and provide the means, by which members can participate in the Association at every level.

The first meeting of the B.C. Chapter was held on June 6, 1992, in the basement of the home of Ollie Bailey, a woman with a passion for Reflexology. Since its inception the Chapter has gone through many stages and periods of growth starting with a membership of one to more than 100 today.

The mission of the B.C. Chapter is to:
  • maintain continual professional development and professional standards of excellence and competence among it’s membership
  • unify British Columbia Reflexologists in professional educational programs and services
  • support and help it’s membership through other beneficial programs
  • provide a supportive environment for mentorship and camaraderie among the membership
  • provide and enforce a Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for the benefit of Reflexologists and their clients
  • advance the understanding and knowledge of Reflexology to society as a whole
